This 12-part Western serial -- a episodic retelling of James Fenimore Cooper's classic novel -- stars silent-film icon Harry Carey as the wiry Natty Bumppo (aka Hawkeye), a Caucasian who lives among Indians and fights battles against white soldiers. Hobart Bosworth and Frank Coghlan Jr. co-star as Hawkeye's Indian allies, Chingachgook and Uncas, while Edwina Booth plays his love interest, Cora Munro.
