When 12-year-old Kamran (Adam Echahly) learns that his ancestor, Omar Khayyam (Bruno Lastra), was a famous 11th century mathematician, astronomer and poet, he vows to keep Omar's legend alive by passing down his epic history. Through imaginative flashback footage shot in Uzbekistan, the film chronicles the trials and triumphs of a proud Persian family. The international cast includes Rade Serbedzija, Christopher Simpson and Moritz Bleibtreu.
