It's a 1970s summer in the idyllic resort town of Martha's Vineyard, where 16-year-old Drew Tate (Larenz Tate) is visiting his well-to-do aunt and uncle to get away from his troubles back home. Drew's life is forever changed that summer after he meets a beautiful (but seemingly unattainable) girl and an older woman dealing with a troubled marriage.
