He and his girlfriend, Maggie (Kari Wuhrer), soon find themselves traveling down the same desolate stretch of West Texas road where the original nightmare began. After encountering a psychotic hitchhiker (Jake Busey), their journey quickly turns into an unnerving race for survival.
