Greenwich Village butcher Leo Lemke (George Dzundza) returns from a North Carolina fishing trip with his clairvoyant new wife, Marina (Demi Moore). In no time, she's inspiring hardened Gothamites with her prophecies -- and scaring her hubby, who sends her to neighborhood shrink Alex Tremor (Jeff Daniels). But Leo's plan may backfire when Marina starts to suspect she wed the wrong guy in this whimsical comedy costarring Mary Steenburgen.
