Rejected by his classmates and forced to endure summer vacation all by himself, 10-year-old Max (Cayden Boyd) dreams up the best two imaginary friends a kid could have -- powerful Sharkboy (Taylor Lautner) and fire-producing Lavagirl (Taylor Dooley).
