Three young friends travel back through time and encounter a band of pirates in this animated adventure. While visiting a local museum Alex, Max, and Califax discover an ancient Aztec bowl made of gold. As they peer into it, they unwittingly set off an ancient time-traveling mechanism and are suddenly transported to an 18th century ship. They meet a pirate queen named Annie Bonnie, the infamous Caribbean pirate Captain Blackbeard, and a terrifying Spanish commodore named Archimbaldo. The group travels to the heart of pirate country, the island of Tortuga, and the boys are embroiled in a dangerous adventure as Blackbeard threatens to destroy the pirates' island paradise. A fun caper with plenty of seafaring thrills, UNDER THE BLACK FLAG is a delightful escapade.
