Long before Barbershop, friends and neighbors hung out at Clifton Curtis's (Clifton Davis) shop in this 1970s sitcom. Clifton's shop comes complete with a cast of colorful characters, such as old-timer Wildcat (Jester Hairston), Junior (Ted Lange) and Clifton's mailman buddy, Earl (Teddy Wilson). The joint is always jumping with neighborhood goings-on, and Mama (Teresa Merritt) is forever trying to get Clifton to settle down with a good woman.
