Sarah (Melanie Griffith) is an expatriate American in France who makes a living on the black market. Along with her much younger boyfriend, fellow American Jack (Hugh Dancy), Sarah hatches a plot to rob a jewelry shop. But when a seemingly innocent young woman (Rachael Leigh Cook) who works at the shop begins to drive a wedge between them, it threatens both the heist and Sarah's relationship with Jack.
