Loosely based on Shakespeare's classic farce, Paul Mazursky's wry comedy centers on architect Phillip Dimitrius (John Cassavetes), who suffers a midlife crisis and escapes to a remote Greek island hoping to find the key to happiness. His serenity is short-lived when his estranged wife's (Gena Rowlands) gallivanting hits too close to home. Molly Ringwald, Susan Sarandon and Raul Julia also appear in this Golden Globe-nominated film.
