When an international conglomerate decides it wants to build yet another industrial plant in a small town, two women band together to fight the proposal. Pat (Laura Innes) and Emelda (Ruby Dee) have been trying for quite some time to draw attention to the health problems brought on by existing plants in their town -- and now that a new threat seems possible, the pair struggles even harder to shed light on the situation before it's too late.
