Ethan (Dabney Coleman) is a successful industrialist, wealthy and well-connected, a perfect victim for a kidnapping. Unfortunately for everyone involved, Ethan's wife doesn't want him back, so there's no way she's going to pay a ransom. In fact, she's so busy sleeping with Ethan's money-laundering partner that she hardly notices he's gone. Poor Ethan, left alone to rot in some cell, while the only person on the outside who cares is his long-suffering secretary.
