Susannah of the Mounties

When she's discovered as the sole survivor of a brutal Indian attack, young orphan Susannah Sheldon (Shirley Temple) befriends a Canadian Mountie, Angus (Randolph Scott), and his girlfriend Vicky (Margaret Lockwood). The pair become her surrogate parents and soon find that having a precocious child around comes in handy when the Indians come calling again and young Susannah uses her charm to broker peace.
