One of the superb live series from the golden age of television, "Studio One" featured dramas with both well-known actors and future stars. These two comic installments include "The Laughmaker," starring Jackie Gleason as a troubled comedian being interviewed by snooping reporter Art Carney. Alice Ghostley and Thelma Ritter co-star. Next, "The Square Peg" features Orson Bean as a business trainer who inadvertently begins advising a mob boss.
