Leslie Nielsen plays Captain Jamieson in this hilarious take-off on deep space thrillers. As leader of the Vertigo, his mission is to explore the cosmos. Aided by a crew that includes the alluring Officer McHugh (Cindy Williams), Jamieson keeps boredom at bay with his usual eccentric ways, until the discovery of a Jello-type substance unleashes the fury of man-eating creatures on his ship. The result is a madcap intergalactic dash for survival.
