Decades of martial arts films -- and the actors who star in them -- are lampooned in this "mockumentary." The film centers on former exotic dancer Francis Allen Sledgewick, aka Frank Sledge (David Leitch), who changes careers and becomes a famous martial arts star. But when he finds that celebrity status has serious drawbacks, he returns to his roots to rediscover himself. Ben Stiller, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving and Eric Roberts also star.
