Raised in Beverly Hills by adoptive parents, young Jesse (Lou Diamond Phillips) knows nothing of his ancestors or their customs until an amulet sent by his biological mother compels him to visit the Sioux City Lakota reservation of his birth. By the time Jesse arrives, however, his mother is dead. Now, he must call his tribe's traditions to solve the mystery in this thriller co-starring Salli Richardson, Melinda Dillon and Ralph Waite.
