A misnomer if ever there was one, all is not simpatico between estranged old friends Vinnie (Nick Nolte), Lyle (Jeff Bridges) and Rosie (Sharon Stone). As youngsters in Azusa, Calif., they pulled off a racehorse scam, but in the process, Vinnie was double-crossed by Lyle and Rosie. Twenty years later, Rosie and Lyle are married, successful breeders of Kentucky thoroughbreds … and Vinnie wants some payback!
