Tadanobu Asano stars in this violent thriller/comedy as Samehada, the titular Shark Skin Man. Samehada is making a getaway from some former Yakuza cohorts when his car is struck by Toshiko, a pretty young woman driving an SUV. Toshiko, it turns out, is also on the run, and the two quickly combine their talents to keep their respective foes at bay. Based on Minetaro Mochizuki's popular series of mangas.
