In this British drama, a vicar fights damning allegations of sexual harassment by a teenage boy. But when the boy's lie is substantiated by a respected woman enamored of and rejected by the clergyman, the vicar's faith is tested to its limits. Anthony Quayle stars as the Rev. Howard Phillips; Andrew Ray plays retaliatory thug Larry Thompson; and Sarah Churchill is the vindictive woman scorned in this daring 1959 film co-starring Cliff Richard.
