Blissful couple Ed (Jay Mohr) and Alice (Julianne Nicholson) are just months shy of their wedding date when Alice proposes that the two have sex with other people until the day of their wedding so she can boost her sexual experience. Ed is opposed to the idea at first but eventually gives in, setting off a whirlwind of problems within their relationship that also elicits a strong response from their friends and family members.
