Travel back in time to 1692 to attend the Salem witch trials, an outbreak of mass hysteria that led to the execution of 19 people and the imprisonment of more than 150 others, in this episode from the popular PBS series. Behavioral psychologist Linda Caporeal presents a new theory about the bizarre incident: that contaminated crops may have produced a natural hallucinogenic that affected many of the accused "witches."
