Ross Tanner (Clive Owen) is enjoying a successful run as a top police detective with a career-ending secret: He's going blind. Officer Catherine Tully (Claire Skinner), who joins Tanner's team to get to the bottom of the senseless murder of an innocent college student, catches on to Tanner's deficiency. The two are thrust into a troubled alliance that will ultimately advance Tully's career.
