Fed up with the typecasting he experiences, young Italian-American actor Johnny Argano (William DeMeo) takes matters into his own hands by writing a screenplay in this charming comedy. Together with his fellow New York actors and buddies Tommy (Daniel Margotta), Mike (James Madio) and Jerome (Tyson Beckford), Johnny embarks on a quest to raise money to make his masterpiece -- and to get his hero, Robert De Niro, to star in it.
