Adapted from Mark McShane's novel, Kiyoshi Kurosawa's moody thriller centers on a sound effects engineer (Koji Yakusho) and his psychic wife (Jun Fubuki) who find themselves involved in a young girl's kidnapping. With nowhere to turn and the clock ticking, husband and wife devise a solution that winds up putting them in greater jeopardy than they'd ever imagined. Kitarou, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Hikari Ishida also star.
