Immensely popular in Japan, Samurai X (aka Rurouni Kenshin) is an addictive anime series about the intrepid journeys of a masterless roving samurai named Himura Kenshin. This director's cut combines the first two episodes of the series. After his family is slaughtered by bandits, 8-year-old Kenshin is "adopted" by a master who sees something in the young boy and decides to teach him the Mitsurugi sword technique.
