This stylish action thriller from acclaimed director Johnny To became one of Hong Kong's biggest box office hits in 1999. When criminal genius Wah's (pop star Andy Lau) doctor tells him he has only two weeks to live, he embarks on an elaborate crime spree. A spectacular jewelry heist pits Wah against the entire police force, but his main goal is to draw an unconventional police negotiator (Lau Ching-wan) into a tense cat-and-mouse game.
