Barrister-playwright John Mortimer's most celebrated creation, Horace Rumpole (Leo McKern), returns for a third season of the hugely popular series. This time around, Rumpole flies to Naranga in Africa to defend a former student (Olu Jacobs) accused of murder. This season also marks the debut of lovely law pupil Fiona Allways (Rosalyn Landor). Look for future Oscar nominee Brenda Blethyn in "Rumpole and the Genuine Article."
