In 19th century India, a horde of profiteers from the so-called civilized world -- including an adventurous scout for showman P.T. Barnum and a jealous nobleman -- chase a wild jungle boy named Mowgli (Jamie Williams). With help from his friends Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, Mowgli dodges the hunting party and stumbles upon a lost city, where a loony king (Roddy McDowall) lords over a monkey empire.
