Pull up your tube socks for this coming-of-age comedy centered on 1970s roller-skate jams. A boy known by the nickname "X" (Bow Wow) dominates the local roller rink with his group of friends. But when the gang's home base goes out of business, they have to look for another hangout. At the Sweetwater Roller Rink across town, the friends are blown away by the skaters and pretty girls they meet, and they pick up a few new tricks.
