When a trio of fugitives find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere, they erect a city of pleasure that draws men -- and tawdry women -- from near and far. Tony Award-winning director John Doyle leads a stellar cast (including Patti LuPone and Audra McDonald) in this 2007 revival of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's spectacular display of sin, an operatic satire that was banned by the Nazis in 1933 and rarely performed for the next 30 years.
