When eccentric millionaire T.J. Banner (Gene Lockhart) wills his fortune and his pathetic Brooklyn Loons pro baseball team not to his family but to Rhubarb, his cat, everyone has an axe to grind -- at least until Rhubarb turns out to be a good-luck charm for the Loons. But the team's newfound success thwarts the plans of some gangsters, who then make game plans of their own. Ray Milland and Jan Sterling star in this charming comedy.
