Karen (Kylie Travis), a hostage negotiator escaping her past, breaks down on a highway and is promptly rescued by Frank Lloyd (James Belushi) and his ex-wife, Rayanne (Shannon Whirry). But when Frank, who holds a valuable computer disk, kills Rayanne -- and Karen witnesses the murder -- she finds safety with a scientist (Frank Whaley) who owns a time machine. Can Karen use it to save Rayanne's life -- or is she out of time?
