American author Abe Cady (Ben Gazzara) publishes a provocative Holocaust history attributing criminal medical conduct to Adam Kelno (Anthony Hopkins), a Polish expatriate physician residing in Britain. The outraged Kelno sues Cady for libel, and an epic trial ensues. This engrossing miniseries based on Leon Uris's best-selling novel was a critical and popular success when it first aired in 1974. Lee Remick and Leslie Caron co-star.
