At odds with her gay son, Bobby (Ryan Kelley), over his sexuality, Mary finds her once-unshakable faith on rocky ground when he commits suicide. When her pastor is unable to help her make sense of the tragedy, Mary embarks on an amazing journey of self-discovery that teaches her the wisdom of tolerance.
