The intense, deep-voiced star Yul Brynner headlines these three underworld dramas, which span the Russian-born actor's long and illustrious career. He makes his film debut as a drug smuggler in the 1949 crime drama Port of New York, and plays an Iranian general in the 1966 TV exposé of the international drug trade, Poppies Are Also Flowers. Finally, in the 1977 actioner Death Rage, Brynner is a retired hit man pulled back into the business.
