Renowned Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (David Suchet) throws off a seemingly open-and-shut investigation when he arrives in a small town to look into the deaths of two women. The older victim's niece (Elisabeth Dermot-Walsh) is under suspicion in both cases, and Poirot finds plenty of reason to link her to the crimes. But as always, the diminutive gumshoe proves that there's more to everything than meets the eye in this clever whodunit.
