Legendary thespian Derek Jacobi portrays former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet in this HBO drama centering on the days following the despot's surprise 1998 arrest in London while seeking medical treatment. Although Amnesty International succeeds in putting Pinochet on trial for crimes against humanity, legal and political complexities -- including a vacillating British home secretary -- make the trial's outcome far from certain.
