An idealistic schoolteacher (Shreeram Lagu) works hard to reduce illiteracy in his village in this musical drama directed by V. Shantaram. When a band of performers arrives, the teacher becomes angry with the villagers, who would rather indulge in entertainment than attend school. The teacher soon finds himself in a showdown with a female dancer (Sandhya) who's sick of his moralistic lectures. Her revenge may change his life.
