Twenty-something Jen Marshall (Piper Perabo) moves back from New York City to Los Angeles, ostensibly to care for her ailing parents but ultimately for her own selfish reasons. A master manipulator, Jen's always playing people against one another, but when she's tragically struck by a bus and finds herself in a wheelchair, the tables are turned. Going through therapy, the conniving girl gets her comeuppance as her friends slowly abandon her.
