Al Pacino is in fine form as Eli Wurman, a has-been New York publicist whose career has seen better days. His last remaining A-list client is Cary Launer (Ryan O'Neal), a movie star with a yen for drugs and star-struck starlets. Soon, taking care of Cary's messes lands Eli into a mess of his own, and he realizes the only way out of trouble is to work his connections. Tea Leoni and Kim Basinger co-star in this film that debuted at Sundance.
