Jack Haley stars in this light musical comedy about rival radio executives trying to convince a big sponsor that they have a hit show on their hands: a program in which contestants engage in goofy antics for big cash prizes. Meanwhile, a romantic entanglement develops between the would-be producers and one of the show's writers. Based on the real-life radio program hosted by Art Linkletter, the film also stars Ozzie Nelson and Helen Walker.
