Over the Hill

Rejected by one of her children and suffocated by the other, newly widowed Alma Harris (Olympia Dukakis) buys a supercharged vintage hot rod and takes off for a road trip across Australia. Along her way, she finds romance with fellow roadster Dutch (Derek Fowlds) and rediscovers a part of herself she's sorely missed. Directed by George Miller (The Man from Snowy River), this charming indie also stars Sigrid Thornton and Bill Kerr.
