In Europe at the dawn of World War II, aging performer Dan Scott (Keith Carradine) is past his prime. He finds renewed success singing in a cabaret act and eventually discovers love with a beautiful young girl (Mia Kershner) who lives nearby. But when the growing war splits them apart, Dan will do anything to be reunited with his girl. This tragic romance from Aleksandr Buravsky co-stars Judd Hirsch, Brian Dennehy and Mercedes Ruehl.
