In 1980, Jack Epson (James McDaniel) walks into the woods and falls asleep after he drinks from a spring. Awaking 20 years later, Jack is shocked to learn he has become a stranger to his wife (Mel Harris) and daughter and that his small town has been overrun by technology. As he adjusts to 21st-century life, Jack works to recover everything he lost -- including his remarried wife -- in this heartwarming update of the classic Rip Van Winkle tale.
