In the drug cartel capital city of Medellin, Colombia, cynical, nihilistic writer Fernando (German Jaramillo) is tired of life and wants to end it all. Astounded at the level of wanton violence in Medellin, Fernando hooks up with a young companion (Anderson Ballesteros) who's integrally involved in the unending cycle of cartel-induced murders. For his part, Fernando is both attracted and repelled by the callous, random killings.
