Laurence Olivier stars in this stellar version of Shakespeare's masterpiece about jealousy and remorse. After Iago (Frank Finlay) convinces Othello (Olivier) that his love, Desdemona (Maggie Smith), is unfaithful, Othello takes action he soon regrets. The classic film features the original cast of the National Theatre of Great Britain's celebrated 1964 production, and Olivier garnered his seventh Oscar nomination for his powerful performance.
