Once Upon a Time in the Midlands

When her husband Jimmy left her, Shirley thought he was better off dead. She manages to raise their daughter, Marlene, and falls in love with the quiet but loyal Dek, who's a far cry from the charming and irresponsible Jimmy. When Dek proposes to Shirley on national television, Jimmy's watching and decides it's time to seek Shirley out once again. But rekindling their love is far from easy, especially when Dek decides to put up a fight.
