Journalist Olga Lerner (Sarah Adler), a French Jew who emigrated to Israel, attends a symposium in war-torn Sarajevo about the nature of conflict. As Olga leads the discussion, which touches on issues of conflict, identity and culture, an audience member (played by French director Jean-Luc Godard) brings up the notion that it may be our differences -- not our similarities -- that form the roots of our existence.
