Due to a glitch in his scholarship papers, newly minted physician Dr. Joel Fleishman (Rob Morrow) is forced to set up his practice in the remote town of Cicely, Alaska, where the locals make him wish he were a shrink. In the fourth season of this Emmy-winning drama, Joel becomes a "light looney"; a heavy metal rocker (guest star Adam Ant) rolls into town, thinking he's in Sicily; and Maggie (Janine Turner) celebrates her 30th birthday alone.
